I’m Darlene Hamilton — a designer, art director, dance caller and teacher, and creator of immersive historical and theatrical experiences.
My work has always lived somewhere between design and experience: creating the visual world, bringing people together, and finding ways to turn an idea into something people can actually step inside.
Over the years, that has taken many forms — graphic design and art direction, historical dance and teaching, event creation, costume and visual design, and collaborative productions ranging from intimate gatherings to elaborate immersive environments.
I’m especially drawn to work that combines beauty, history, storytelling, and a sense of play.
