I call and teach historical social dance, creating welcoming experiences that bring people onto the floor — from first-time dancers to longtime enthusiasts.
My work ranges from intimate classes and workshops to large historical balls and immersive events, with an emphasis on making the dancing accessible, joyful, and connected to the world around it.
Alongside calling at historical balls and special events, I teach a regular Tuesday-night dance class, helping dancers build skills and confidence in a relaxed, welcoming setting. I love watching people go from learning the figures to simply enjoying the dance together.
Dance Programming for Events
I also bring historical and social dance into events created by others — from conventions and festivals to themed gatherings and immersive experiences. I can develop a dance program to fit the setting, teach guests with little or no previous experience, and call the dancing so everyone can take part.
